Aceline Bahvna of Tethys – The Heart and Soul
Aceline is a mermaid of royalty and direct descendant of Tethys. Aceline and Harmony are close friends and practically family. Aceline was like an older sister, or nurse maid, to Harmony. They knew each other from Harmony’s first experience with the ocean. Aceline always kept an eye out for Harmony and Harmony’s gifts, because Harmony’s parents knew very little of them (and definitely not how to handle them). Aceline is over two hundred years old, which is young for her people, and she currently works as an ambassador for the kingdom of Tethys to the U.S. and Canada’s paranormal community. Her spirit is innocent and young, waiting for her Prince Charming. The only problem is that her people believe in…inbreeding.

Becca Jasmine Kelly – The Confused
Becca Kelly is the girlfriend, and long-time neighbor, of Britney Jennings. She works at a café called “Aspersions.” Becca is sweet, a little bit quiet, and seems to be overall honest. She is nice, but one can easily wonder why she is with Britney. One can also wonder, “What is she hiding?”

Britney Leigh Jennings – The Bold
Britney is loud, bold, and says whatever comes to mind without hesitation. She is the little kid who no one expects to be a drug dealer, the one that takes customers to the drug dealer. The difference is that she is no longer a child and the drugs are knives and guns. She is girlfriend to Becca Kelly and connection to Hunter Delacroix. Her relationship is a little confusing, however, for she can be found flirting with other boys and girls.

Dante Xavier Ryder-Waite – The Future Unfolding
First born to Harmony and Galen. He is clairvoyant.

Enoch the Silent – The Tempter
Enoch lives in a house that has a door to a plane parallel to ours. The Earth looks the same physically, but anything built by humans and other types of beings is different. The beings are different. The idea of “paranormal” on our plane is normal on theirs. Enoch is an ancient soul, dating back to the times of the construction of Stonehenge. Many people mistake him for a vampire. He has a lot of connections to other with great wisdom. Enoch was, maybe still is, in love with Harmony. Enoch also was once, maybe still is, in love with Lily Finch. Harmony always remains true to Galen, but still can become hurt by Lily’s unspoken love for Enoch. Conflict always arises.

Fiona Ceridwen O’Spark – The Old Innocent
Fiona is known as “Fiona Spark” in present-day America. She is originally from Scotland and is a manticore. Someone blindfolded and skinned her alive. The person also put a dagger through her hands and into the ground. When Fiona was found hours later, in the Detroit Institute of Art, she appeared dead. She was pregnant. Harmony was called in to see why there were scales and hair near the body, also to examine the knife. Fiona was not dead…

Galen Jack Ryder – The Present Relief
Galen is the husband of Harmony and father of Dante. He is an old soul, reincarnated so many times we have lost count of the number. He is full of ancient wisdom and purely unconditional love. He is the only one who can celebrate the past, enjoy the present, and prepare for the future. How the hell did he get stuck with the chaotic Harmony? We aren’t sure, but we love his whimsical outlook on life.

Giselle Milan Alexander – The Vain
Giselle is interviewed my Harmony for the Sparks case. Little is known about her. She is beautiful and seems to be a little vain. She is Nevina’s twin.

Hamrony Oceana Waite – The Past Misfortune
Harmony is the main character and narrator. She has so many ideals and works towards a harmonious future, but has too many issues from her past that hold her back. She is emotional, yet strong when faced directly with adversity. She is honest, blatant, and rarely balanced. She is full of good intentions, but does not always do what is right. Her life is confusing. She had stopped trying to figure it out. Issues have begun to resurface – which is where our story begins.

Hunter James Delacroix – The Questionable
Hunter is a weapons dealer. He works with Onyx and uses Britney to bring in customers. His motives are unknown. Harmony recently bought some daggers from him, and a duplicate ended up at a crime scene.

Isaac Daniel St. Joseph – The Help
Isaac is an expert on knives, blades, guns, bow and arrows, etc…He also knows a great deal of computer programming and hacking. He does not like crowds or people in general. He is an old friend, and ex-boyfriend, of Harmony. He is good friends with Harmony’s friend, Zinna.

Isadora “Izzy” Monroe Dam – The Optimist
Izzy is Velvet’s companion. Harmony meets them while interviewing people for the Sparks case. Izzy is sweet, but no one knows if she’s innocent. She is very intelligent and seems helpful. She is an optimist.

Jeanathon Paul Avery – The Healed
Jeanathon is the Chief of police on the case involving Fiona Sparks. Jeanathon is also Harmony’s cousin. He has a very rebellious past and has witnessed enough of the paranormal, thanks to Harmony, to know that his actions are noticed in the next life.

Kiernan “Ky” Elliot Lauuhart – The Lost
Harmony and Ky meet while Harmony is solving the Sparks case. They become friends when Harmony’s other friends start to fade out of her life. Ky is sweet and always in unpredictable, mostly disastrous, situations. He is full of love even though his world is always crashing down.

Lily Brooke Finch – The Unspoken Rival
Lily was once a kind, hopeful soul. Over the years she has lost faith. Lily and Harmony have been friends on and off for years. Lily was, maybe still is, in love with Enoch. Lily is intelligent, beautiful, and wanted by everyone and everything that moves. Jealousy and misunderstanding has occurred from other people’s ideas and involvement with Lily and Harmony. They were compared so much when they were young friends, that they too compared themselves to each other. Fighting occurred.

Mahogany the Bloody – The Bleeding Heart
One of the four sisters that Harmony goes to for advice. Mahogany is a vampire with a calling to wolves, dogs alike, and werepeople. She helps with a community of werewolves and leads picketing for animal rights. She and her sisters live in Enoch’s plane, but Mahogany crosses over to this plane the most for her work with wolves, etc. She goes by “Mags” and is the closes to Harmony of the sisters due to the passion for animals.

Nevina Laurell Alexander – The Modest
Nevina is interviewed by Harmony for the Sparks case. She is beautiful, but oblivious of it. She is Giselle’s twin.

Onyx – The Strength
Onyx is the friend, co-worker, and bodyguard of Hunter. He does not know much about his past, other than that he is an orphan. He named himself “Onyx.” He is Native American with wonderful spiritual gifts, and is also a twin. Both facts are oblivious to Onyx.

Raleigh the Bloody – The Dreamer
Raleigh is the youngest of the Red Sisters. She has a passion for literature and dreams of one day becoming as great of a writer as she has read for centuries. She is an old vampire, like her sisters, but she is the youngest in spirit. She is motivated, inspired, and a little naïve.

Reese Talon Cambridge – The Undecided
Reese is a close friend of Harmony. A few years ago they had stopped talking. They are slowly trying to rekindle their friendship. Reese has lovers always looking to be with her, wanting to spend the rest of their life with her. She never chooses one.

Sage Amelia Henderson – The Best Friend
Sage is the best female friend of Harmony, and the best overall friend of Harmony. They have known each other almost since birth and grew up in the same neighborhood. Sage is Catholic, but has witnessed enough paranormal activity to know that not all bases were covered in the Bible. Sage has a son, named Gabriel, and is still looking for her soul mate. She thinks the father of her boy might be him. She doubted time and again of this idea.

Scalett the Bloody – The Renewed
The oldest of the Red Sisters and a very traditional vampire. Scarlett’s motives for helping someone can be seen as questionable, but she really is selfless. The Red Sisters have a dark past, and have transformed over the last few decades.

Sienna the Bloody – The Detailed
The second oldest of the Red Sisters. She, like the oldest, Scarlett, is very traditional. Sienna is a vampire with great knowledge in written works from over the last five centuries. She can examine and compare writing styles and word choice.

Tristan Wyott Alexander – The Love Interest
Tristan and his sisters, Nevina and Giselle, are travelers from Egypt. Tristan is handsome and a possible new beau of Sage. He is gifted in fortune telling. Harmony interviews him and asks for a fortune reading to help with the Sparks case.

Velvet Elizabeth Sin – The Pessimist
Velvet is Izzy’s companion. Velvet is moody, easily annoyed, and a complete pessimist. Harmony meets her while interviewing people for the Sparks case, and they do not get along whatsoever.

Zinna Elise Robbins – The Angst
Zinna is a friend of Harmony’s that seems to go in and out of her life. Zinna is a spontaneous roller coaster of emotion. She is an “alien” stuck on Earth…because her people can’t stand her either.
